Behind that smile
You smile, but your eyes are dipped in sadness,You laugh but where is the euphoria?
You utter an 'I'm fine' when you're anything but.
Behind closed doors, your pillow is damp with your tears,
Your diary full of words & thoughts that no one will ever see,
Your prayers cry out in desperation.
You try to paint a smile to fool the world,
But you don't fool me.
