    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this poem when I broke up with ym first boyfriend. I thought for the longest time he would be the one I would marry until he started to become extremely controling and suicidal. I then decided to break up with him. It took me a long time to get over the fear of dating and now I am back out there and enjoying my life!! This particular poem inspired me to write alot more. I am now the proud author of over 30 peoms that I wish to one day publish!!

    Betrayal

     You said you loved me
    You said you would never leave
    You turned your back on me
    You walked away without a sound

    Now my heart is breaking
    My love is falling
    I am torn, broken in two
    I thought it would last but I was wrong

    I thought I could trust you
    You pushed me aside
    I thought you were the one
    But now we are done.
