( BLIND BUT HAPPY)

THERE WAS A TIME I WAS BLIND
THERE WAS A TIME I WAS BLIND AND IT SEEM LIKE
I WAS RUNNING OUT OF TIME . BECAUSE I HAD A BARDED UP MIND.

I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO
IT IS GOD I OWE IT ALL TOO, HE PUT SOME ONE IN MY LIFE THAT KNOW
JUST HOW TO DO RIGHT.HE HAD PROBLEMS.
BUT YET HE HAD RESPECT
AND KNEW WHAT TO DO NEXT.
EVEN THOUGH  HE DIDN'T KNOW ME YET.
I WAS A WIDOW
LIVING A LONE ,GONE BLIND IN MY HOME.
THIS PERSON I HAD JUST MET .CARRIED ME PLACES I DIDN'T EXPECT

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HE WOULD DO NEXT.
BUT IN MY SPIRIT SAID HAVE NO FEAR .
YOU KNOW GOD IS HEAR.
I HAD FAITH THAT I WAS SAFE.
BECAUSE I HAD GOD GRACE.NO MATTER WHAT
IT's GOD I HAVE TO FACE.

Quiet testimony is just as valid as jumping and shouting; even more so when you put it down for posterity.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
