boy with the Violin

boy with the Violin

I came to know of a love that was sweet

A love that will haunt me for as long as I breathe

This was the day I first laid my brown eyes on the boy.

The boy with his violin.

I never heard a playing so sweet.

His melody would fill me with joy.

I never knew how sad I was until I heard him

He was happy to play and I happy to listen.

For when ever I would hear him play, I’d feel love.

We did not speak a sound silent and pleased I gazed on him

From my window.

I would close my eyes, I would see rainbows in the suns rain

I would feel the heat of fire warm on my skin

The boy with the violin.

For days, I did not hear my loves song.

What was I to do without our song?

Secret meeting in the night as his eyes met mine.

Oh how I do love that boy his eye upon me his hands on those strings.

Though he is far away, I still will hear our love song .when gentle breezes blow I will hear my love and there is no sweeter sound I know then the boy with the violin.

"For days, I did not hear my loves song. What was I to do without our song?"—I just love this!

than you

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
