Broken Pieces 07

Bleeding fast the world is overwhelming

Steel is welding, heart is melting

Shadows creeping like my favorite blanket

Who do I thank that, do I thank that

Simple pleasures taste like sour lemons

Heart is broken, should have listened

Spirits flying round me on their missions

They’ll never make it, everyone’s missing

Happy couple’s lives are broken pieces

Less than minutes, didn’t see it

Miserable man his brain just itches

Scratch it and miss it, pain is livin

River water running always changin

Do we make it, years are fadin

Tree leaves feel their fall is coming near now

Make the descent, Broken Pieces.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
