    BROTHER

    BROTHER,DEAR WHY ARE YOU CRYING
IS THAT PAIN IN YOUR EYES I SEE
    OR IS IT ANGER,OR FEAR
    WHAT COULD IT BE
COULD IT BE THAT I FORGOT
TO CHECK WITH YOU LIKE SISTERS DO
AND LIFT YOUR SPIRIT'SWHEN YOU FELT BLUE
AS YEARS GO BY WE TAKE FOR GRANTED
    WE'LL ALWAYS BE AROUND
    OUR LIVES UNCHANTED
BUT HERE I AM AT THIRTY SEVEN
    AND YOU ONLY NINETEEN
    HAVE GONE TO HEAVEN
THINGS WENT WRONG AS YOU LIVED IN YOUR TEEN'S
I KNOW IN MY HEART THAT YOU WERE NEVER MEAN
YOU WONDERED OFF WITH THE WRONG CROWD
WHY COULDN'T I SEE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
YOU NEEDED HELP, BUT NO HELP CAME
    ONLY CONFUSION, AND PAIN
    OR WAS IT FEAR
    THAT MADE YOU TAKE AWAY
THE BROTHER, THAT I LOVE SO DEAR
YOU LEFT BEFORE I COULD SAY GOOD BYE
NOW WHEN I THINK OF YOU I ONLY CRY, CRY, CRY

Even though there are spelling errors, it doesn't detract from the honesty and sadness of this poem to your brother...I gave you 10 for this!

This is a beautiful poem; however, some words were misspelled and you have no punctuation where there should be...like when you ask questions there should be a question mark. This really could have been an 8 or 9.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
