Butterflyboy

Forgive my 'unfaithfulness,' there are so many flowers in the garden of life.
One butterflyboy  can't resist the nectar of so many beautiful flowers longing for fresh pollen. All these blossoms open and yearning for sun; for purpose fulfilled.

Would I be a monarch, flying great distances, to a light softly on your petals,
drink deeply from the pool of unquenched love;
leave an egg to be nourished by your spreading bows and sun sheltering leaves?

If I was, returning every spring, would be a life's joy;
a cycle of fulfillment so unknown today with our silly striving.
Birth, love, nourishment, growth, attraction, passion, love and peaceful sleep;
these are the natural cycles of life.

Your butterflyboy
