    By the Rivers of Babylon

    The Alienation of the Modern-SOUL,
lost in the sea of a soulless-time
on the shore of the Ocean....Desolation
    Man: disconnected from the truth
    what is Fact or Fiction?
    what is the Reality?
    what is illusion?
All seems to be dust in the Wind....
    desert storms, quagmires.
    the predicament of......
    the forlorn-soup of endeavour.
    The quick-sand of the.....
    hopeless enterprise
forever on the banks of the bog
    and Ziggurats......
    forever, lost in the Space
    of a trackless Black-vacuum?

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
