    Can I Write for You

    Can I write for you?
    Be your concubine to poetry.
Write sonnets as you flow with me.
Can I write for you a poem, a lyric?
Placed in secret tone so only you can hear it.
Can I compose a rhyme in remembrance of our slow wines?
Can I write for you a verse?
Give birth to it as if you were my first.
    Can I write for you?
A simple song or just a line.
    Can I write for you…

Emmmm sweet words dripping from my pen
They have no start no end.
The opening of a bloomed flower
From lovers to friends; friends to lovers
I’d write a novel, just to
    Look into your tomorrow.
A script to walk the path of your days.
How I stand amazed, you came into my script out of
    The blue…
Your scent dances in the wind
    The familiar fragrance of
    Love
    A stranger you are not
    Can I write for you?

As the ink bleeds onto my pages
Words set me off into poetic
    Rages
    Standing before the congress of
    Romance
    Pleading for your love…
For one last chance to write
    One last chance to re-cite
The poetic vows I made to you
    Poetic rhythms selected for you
    Blisters form on my fingers
    As I write…for you
As I pledge my love for you
Give pieces of myself to you
Reveal my darkest secrets to you
Become a open book for you
    That consists of one poem
    With twelve lines…
    Can…I…write…for you…

Yes you can, write for me, anytime (smile)...much respect, I like your expressions!
