    Can't You See My Pain

can't let them see how sad I am,
can't let them know how much it hurts.

I'll go home and cry of the decisions I made.
Why are they all such jerks?

My heart is hurting can't you see.
I had to do what was best for me.

They're all fine, I'm better too.
But that doesn't really matter to you.

Lonley I am, my heart bleeds.
Still feeling the space that's inside of me.

I regret all the past things, that brought me to
decisions that left me with pains.

But things won't change they never do.
Why people think they're so much better than you?

    I'll never know, I won't ask.
It's too much burden, a never ending task.

Holidays never will be the same.
You make my heart rage, so untame.

    I can't explain the pain i feel.
but it is ever so real.

Time will pass it's all the same.
I'll still be here in such pain.

Nobody bothers to see my fight.
You will always think your right.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
