CHAD

When I think about that horrible time as I take a look back,
He would still be alive if people would have just cut him some slack.
It got so bad he just wanted to go
Why he took his life we will never know.

Only 15 why  so young
Turning purple slowly as there he hung.
Leaving a family in despair,
Thinking about times that Chad was there.

I think about him even today,
But there is only one more thing I can say.
Chad Edward Zellmer may be deceased,
But he will always be remembered, Chad rest in peace.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
