Cobwebs

Cobwebs

Dawn upon yourself, Light!
Beautiful, endlessly reflecting rays,
Off of the crystaline, sparkling waters,
In your own imaginations pond.

Illuminate yourself with it,
Let it out, cocmpletely un-filtered.
Use your mind, very often,
Before the cobwebs slowly take over.

short and sweet. I like it. Insightful and intelligent.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
