    Confusion

    Confusion
    By: Samuel Corry
How do grow so far apart
    Like a baby bird
    Leaving its nest
    Have we not been
    One anymore
    Is there any hope
    Of gluing the pieces
    Back together
    Or did
    We take our last fall
    Like the last Twin Tower
    It seems as if
    We just gave up
    On one another
    Were we better as friends
How did we get to the end
With out seeing us fading out
Like the color from a TV.
    It there any going back
    Or is this truly
    Our last book as one?

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
