    Country Christmas

    Hey, it's a country Christmas
    That I'm dreaming of
    With lights in the windows
And a house that's filled with love
    With children singing carols
As they trim the christmas tree
    And Grandma in the kitchen
Baking treats for you and me
    A church upon the hillside
    And moonlight on the snow
    Yes, it's a country Christmas
    That casts a special glow

Another great write. The beauty of a Country Christmas is something very special to behold. Thank you for taking me back to the country. 10

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
