d... the depth (in which truth lies)

Damn the depth in which truth lies
to hide it's shame and drying eyes...
Tears of which the devils tongue
licked from the cheek, every one...
Left only trails of where they flowed
by a glimpse of scarlet .. on the soul.

But still left crying with tearless eyes
this inner grief just won't subside...
But to vent this hurt would just fan the flame
and show the weaker and place the blame...
On the soul scarred one, who battles regret
and hid away everything .. "I" won't forget.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
