    DAnce With Me

    Dance With Me?

    Let’s dance
    How shall we dance?
    When shall we dance?
    Where shall we dance?
    How long shall we dance?

    Let’s dance (Chorus)
To the rhythm of the beat of our birth
To the environment of our youth
To the culture that raised us to make it proud

    Let’s dance (Chorus)
To the hands of the one’s who raised us
To the hands of the instructors given to us
To the hands of authority and order
To our hands of discipline and responsibility

    Let’s dance (Chorus)
While the rhythm in the music beats to the pace of our thoughts
As the rhythm of the music beats faster and slower as we mature
To the rhythmic themes of education, work, goals, family and friends
To the rhythm as it changes to reveal our growth and lack thereof

    Let’s dance (Chorus)
Though we’re worlds apart in life, thought and place
For the rhythmic beat is drawing us to our music
For the place is here and our time is now
Because our will and desire are tied

    Let’s dance (Chorus)
To the music of your life
And to the music of mine
    And when we’re done,
Oh what a night of dancing,
    We had together.

    So, dance with me, again
And this time, our rhythm will last
For the rest of our lives!

I like the rhythm in this! Would be very good read with drumbeat..

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
