Dare

I dare you...

To show me who you really are

Show me your real colors

Tell me just how you feel.....

About me

About the things Ive done

How Ive treated you

To look in the mirror and tell me....

If you like who you are

Like what you see

I dare you to..

Be honest with me and yourself

To stop with your games

Cause maybe when you are all done and complete these dares

Maybe then youll see

what ive seen all along

Maybe then you can heal

And be who you wish to be

A stronger Person In who they are

Who rely on Nothing and No one

But themselves for what they want and need

Maybe then youll understand

What I ment and what I said

But till then Ill hold my tongue yet again

Silence the voice youve come to hate

and pray and hope youll see the light

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
