Dear Drugs

Dear Drugs,
We have been together for a long time. You started out being my best friend, my lover, and my Higher Power. You helped me control my messy emotions, and my physical pain; but come to find out you were my superfical friend my controlling lover, and most of all my enemy that almost cost me my kids, fiance, family and my life.
You caused me to lie, and hurt the people who love me. For you I wished for death. You make me phyisically sick, and to tink of you makes me sick. I loved you with a passion. Now that I' am getting my life together don't think for a seond you are gonna sneak in, because my Higher Power now which is God will push you away. The best advise I can give you, is to dig a deep hole, and jump in and pull the dirt over your ass, and just know I' am not going with you, You SON-OF-A-BITCH!!!

Sincerly ,  SouthernBelle

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
