High above the clouds,
and throughout the sky,

I see you crying,
and I can't help but wonder why,
I know you are sad,
because I have left,
but please understand I am
no longer in pain, I do not suffer.

I am in a place that's full of love,

and gives you that chill,
I am the leaf that falls, down from the tree onto the ground
that keeps moving around and around,
I am the thunder you hear in the middle of the night,
and the lighting that strikes so fast, and so bright.

So you see dearest love I am not gone,
and certainly not forgotten,
My love will live on forever and I will always be here.
One day, I will see you again, and we will be able
to mend the pain that is felt on this day
that I have had to say goodbye.
