    Different Man, Same Script

    Different man, different script
So quick to talk the talk
But can never walk the walk
I'm so different from the rest
That's what they say in the beginning
    I'm all about my money
    That's what you tell me
I can take care of your kids and you
Yes, that's what he tells you
All they're doing is selling dreams
I'm the best man for you
    So he says
Only to get the key to your heart
    Then what?
Your heart has taken another heartbreak
At times we fall for the lies over and over
All because we want the dream to come true
    We look for love
A man's script is his bait
They use it to reel us in
    Then we go through heartaches
We then get thrown back in the water
    While our search continues
Only to find out we've reached our breaking point
We start to become bitter towards men
So bitter that if they look at us in a certain way we catch an attitude
At this point we're left with nothing to do, but put our guards up
And when a man approaches us we tell them different man, same script
