    dirty blinds

a warm bath and a blade
    to soothe lifes tirade
    this endless game of charades
    invades my inner space
the only place i find solace
    now a fucking menace
so i stay in outer space
and dream of my old place
    where people come and go
    and watch my little show
what do they take with them
    an idea here and there
some advice or sit and stare
    i'm impared by the film
    the layer of dust
that fills my eyes my windows
    foggy hazy kinda crazy
with doubt for all to share
    deep thoughts beyond compare
    a life under thumb
    a soul unwound undone
a jaded mind and a patched up heart
and a memory should we part
    trying to fix the broken
    read between the lines
    hear everyone who's spoken
    dust my dirty blinds

I love your poem and what is said along with what is implied here...Mediocrities of life are comfortingly distracting from the drama that surrounds human interaction. Not too many of us take long dips in the lake of depth of thought, but for those that do, sometimes the water-treading and doggy paddling leaves a body and mind and a heart very weary....very weary...Great write...Expressive use of nouns verbs n adjectives...

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
