Poem Commentary

Poetry about the nightmares of a mind that haunts a mans closed eyes.

Dreams of Death

As the eyes close one last time;
A world of reality quietly fades.
Through a darkened hole from below;
A man rapidly falls deep within.

As the eyes widen with mystery;
A web of despair falls upon a man.
Through screams of agony and pain;
A man begins to retreat.

As the eyes begins to tearfully glow;
An ominous mass begins to stalk.
Through bright flames of burning embers;
A montrous being silently walks.

As the soundful screams continues to release;
A feeling of terror violently grips a man.
As the land of lost souls erupts with laughter and flames;
An image of a man begins to scream in pain.

As the eyes of fear begins to incinerate;
A bright flash of white quickly eminates.
As the eyes quietly open once more;
The nightmares of the mind slowly fade away.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
