    E

    E-the letter the say
    It was meant to be
    The street kings say
    I am of great ancestry
    I am of great purity
    I give you eternity
    Above all,I am divinity.

    Teenagers crave for me
    As if,I am Vitamin C
    I am no deliquency
    I give you dignity
    Above all,integrity.

    Adults feed on me
As if, I am a delicacy
    People use me
As if, I am a celebrity
Above all, I am a legacy.

    So much said about E
    Oh lord hear thy plea
    For I am the enemy
    That created havoc among thee.
Take me out of this misery
As the father has loved me
That will end the cycle of deformity.
    I am stronger than P
    I am ECTASY.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
