Earth
Keith Grigsby
2 February 2009
Earth
Soft, Solid, Wet,
Cold, Hot, Smooth,
Rough, Natural, Concise,
Cyclic, Surviving, and Vital.
To some a meaningless void,
To others a utopia,
To me a combination,
To all a gift.
The world is a place of learning,
The planet of life,
Entering a new age,
If taught the understanding.
To be rich at heart,
To be smart in love,
To be full of understanding,
To know no hatred.
Like a rose or a weed,
It is all the same,
Like water simple and complex,
Like the earth large, but accessible.
