    Evening Beast

The new day has come and gone once again
the light that had burned so bright became relinquished
birds that flew and chirped settled into their nests
even the air itself settled in for the time being

As They all gave into sleep more had awakened
Owls coming out the trees, Bats with their caves
The crickets with their everlasting noise
But more importantly the deadly one came

It's talons were sharper than diamond
It had fur as wild as a rabid coyote
A mouth so gruesome it would kill you on looks alone
    before it's breath would
Had a tail as scaly as well scales with spikes coming
out ever which end you could see
Eyes were blood shot and beady

    Only thing left to tell:
     Wit better than all combined
thats what you get for unleashing it
    one problem though
    Wake up

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
