Every fiber of my being involves a sense of you.

Every fiber of my being involves a sense of you.

The only arms that truely keep me up,
I collapse when they aren't holding me tight enough,
And my heart seems to just close-up.

The world melts away when you look at me,
and when you grab my hand, happiness is all that comes to be.

Our eyes are only meant to examine each other,
though we see right through one another.

You told me you loved me, and from the begining I didn't believe,
that a person such as you wouldn't want to leave.

we sleep through each night unhappy that the other isn't there,
because being away is almost too much to bare.

I wasn't the person that everyone says I used to be,
but now that you're here, you're the only one that knows the real me.

I wanted to thank you for bringing me to a different state of mind,
and I only wish I can bring you the same amount of feeling so sublime.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
