    Falling For You.

    Let's play a little game.
    You say i love you, i'll say the same.
    we'll go for long walks
    sit on the edge of the pier.
    fix the world to believe we have no fear.
    pretend its all perfect
    despite all the lies.
    Gently kiss the top of my nose,
    and look sincerely in my eyes.
    Tell me it's worth it,
    and it will be okay.
    All the problems will soon go away.
    Whisper in my ear,
    words of strength words of fear,
    sweet nothings, "i love you" and
    "i'll always be here"
    Cause it's all a game,
    you'll endure some pain,
    you will love and be broken,
    through words left unspoken.
    But while your still here;
    hold my hand don't let me go
    I've fallen for you,
    you caught me alright,
    wrap your arms around me,
    hold me tight.
    maybe one day,
    this will all be so perfect,
    but i know now;
    that it is all worth it.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
