    Fight

This had happened, that had happened,
    It could not be denied.
Places were taken, lines were drawn,
Now no one could have lied.
    The match had been made,
    The battle had begun.
    Both sides defended,
    Now, here comes the fun.
    Charging were their offenses
    With an equally aggresive behavior.
    After lash upon lash
No one knew who to favor.
    Suddenly, the battle was over.
There was a familiar peace on the battlefield.
    Had the war been decided?
    Surely not.
For many more battles are to be fought
Before a winner can be determined.
Will there ever be a victor, though?
Probably not, but for now there is peace upon their land.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
