    Force

    Setting on the horizon
The Sun seeks our deepest secrets
    Who are we?
    Where have we gone?
    We cannot hide it
    It is always there
    the sidewalks lay in awe
of its brightness. The birds quiet until it reappears, as a beacon of
    one more day.
    We breathe it
    We feel it
It is the force of our life

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
