FORGIVENESS

FORGIVENESS

Oh who will forgive me of these seemingly unparndonable things?
The ones that hurt and destroy from the pain that it brings These jagged ends, enflaming the inner most part it leaves,Such deep hurt and pain, seeking desperately the way yhat relieves

The lives that have torn me apart by saying and doing things that break the soul and heart The places I wish I have been that others have cherished and idolized

My own soul which cries out in pain
who can forgive me of such an offense?
Who will come to plead my defense?
Only one person has this power.

The person of Christ provides it this hour.
He will stand in their defense
Being the forgiver, making trespasses dead.
To internalize this truth is the most important part From hearing The Word one imparts it to their heart.

So open your ears and do not delay
For the Forgiver stands waiting for your heart today Open it to Him and do not depart ,for His Holy Word will give you the right start so to give Him these burdens and make them stay He only requires us to pray
Let this forgiveness from you freely flow
For you are not to keep it, but let it go.

Give it to others ,so that they may see The Savior Lord Christ , to finally be free.

Your faith is evident in this inspiring pice you have so eloquently penned. Thank you for sharing this and your lovely comment. I am not on the site much, I have been writing since I was 15 but it is only recently that I am beginning to see what I am capable of and I firmly believe that for what ever His reason God blessed me with the ability to express myself with writing. I love to move people with my words. I see that you do to. Thank you for sharing! Love, Robin

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
