    Frail Dance

    In the deepest soul of man;
    The word is out the word of fun,
    Is the season blessed heart
    Heart to heart the tone to dance

    A carnation asked to the sunlight;
    A color which do make him shine,
    It was a glint, the glint of heart
    Whispering for the first dance

    A bright star smiled on the sky;
    Rushing pleasant drops of dust,
    It was the white suit of the heart
    Longing for its turn to dance

    The lightning gleams the thunder blasts;
    The songs of love are holding hands,
    Then silence blinks a withered heart
    Enjoy alone, alone the dance

    Don't tell to rose shooting star;

    The night hid out a tear once,

    It was a heart, a lonely heart

    Hopeful for the last dance

    A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
