Moving forward
My mothers cloud cushioned my fall from the motivation of realism.
The world is a seperate entity webbed into skepticism.
My life elevates and glides on the ice of criticism.
Military bound trying to keep the world safe from terrorism.
I battle with all of the unpleasantries of cynicism.
I feel like I don't fit in cause I don't fancy favortism.
I challenge adversity, Strength is my mechanism.
The armor I wear daily recharges on spiritualism.
Honoring the Lord's code is how I was raised with baptism.
My life is free from the barriers and shackles of socialism.
Now my life has more meaning than the bling bling of materialism.
Here I am chasing, trying to grab hold to this gift of journalism.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
