    Good-bye Chicago

I'll remember you and I'll forget you. I can walk away because even when i reached for you with all my heart, you Stood Strong- turned me away when i needed you. Can you Feel? Do those strong arms & dark eyes ever truly love? Or do you only take? Because You're beautiful to the eye? Are you that arrogant? Do you not know, honey? Beauty fades and your heart will tell on you. One day you'll have to look into the mirror of your Soul. Will you remember me? I'll remember you! You awakened love, then you walked away. Take Care, because i can't care anymore. Good-bye Chicago!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
