    Goodbye

The pain in my chest unannounced like the day you left me. Getting harder to breathe as I gaze at the sky, seeing you at my feet brings me to my knees. Forsaken like me I never thought I'd be, but it must be for why else would I 'd be punished for loving you. So goodbye my love my one soul mate for with out you I am nothing but a shell. I dream of the moment when your eyes touch mine again oh what a sweet day that will be.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
