Happiness

Happiness

What is it, what is this,
        This thing called happiness.
                  A smile perhaps...
or maybe a laugh, but no I think it
more than something so very simple
                         as that
A hug to a friend we can never say in
                         the end,
I just wish to know...the feeling it
brings to you, Love is linked to it the
core I'm sure, I just know it. So in
order to find happiness you must first
find love instead, then and only then
will you know happiness I'm sure.

The poem structure is a little strange, but your words are interesting.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
