What a great day
There is so much to be thankful for,
But it’s not just because it’s my birthday
It means so much more

Three years ago on this day
I made a very important decision
But I knew it was the right one
Because the Beauty and Personality of yourself gave me a very clear vision

We sat in the park after dark
Getting to know each other by talking away
I mean we were so comfortable with each other
Until we didn’t care if we talked until the next day

At 9:45pm on the 45th second
I asked you to be a part of my life
And you must have wanted me in some kind of way
Because without hesitation you said yes as if I was Mr. Right

So since today is my birthday
You know it’s suppose to be all about me
But of course I had to rearrange all that
Considering today is our Anniversary

I bet you thought I forgot
But oh no, never will that be
Because I will never forget about someone
Who means the world to me



So we will make the best of these 2 occasions
As if it was a day we spent a lifetime waiting on
Because you will always have my love
And I will make sure that it is always shown

So Happy Birthday to me
And Happy Anniversary as well
Because I have you, which is who I wanted
I mean, can’t you tell

O lets be thankful for this day
As it is fill with all our love
Because we would have never made it this far
If it wasn’t for the Big Man above

So to my sweetheart
I love you with all my heart and soul
So you have now heard it from me
And this is the truth being told

On this day you have to be by my side
And this is a must
And although I dedicate this poem to you
This poem is really for us

I know we will see many more anniversaries
So there is no need for me to contemplate
So with me saying this in closing
