Heavenly Divine

Heavenly Divine

She's the last of her kind
Heavenly divine
with a heart as golden
as the sun that shines
and a soul as pure
as the clouds are white
she was brought to my life by Christ
our fates intertwined
destiny defined
heavenly divine
brought to this world
the same year as I
to wipe the proverbial
tear from my eye
that was caused by
a past that left me behind
she gives me a special high
better than any drug you could find
higher than every cloud in the sky
her soft kisses take my breath away
and all I can do is sigh
as I look into her eyes
and she looks into mine
faithfully staying by my side
I am hers
and she is mine
for when we embrace
we freeze in time
she is my phoenix
I am her dragon
she gives me affection
I give her passion
love and protection
as if we were destined
my angel from heaven
I'll give her my world
for she is my blessing
as long as she stays by my side
never will I find
another woman like mine
so heavenly divine

thats very beautiful i enjoyed reading this. I'm a hopeless romantic

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
