    Her Side

    our eyes met
    our souls touched
Knowing our limitations but wanting more
    Accepting the risk
Wanting to touch but not touching
    The desire still there
    Images of bodies blending
    Sweating,moaning pleasures unfolding
    Excited because it's forbidden
    Frightened by the wanting
    Unquenched lust
Trusting in each other secrets to hold
Stolen glances, secret looks we dare not stare
    Close encounters
Should we say out loud what we are thinking?
    or are we already aware?
phone calls are safe no danger there
    Stolen moments in time
    Remembering its fantasy not real
    Not unfolding but hidden there
    Bodies sweating wanting more
    Images of us wanting more
Temperatures risings caught in the moment

THEN I WAKE UP AND NO ONE IS THERE

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
