    hope, wish, life

the day they are born you hold them and cry
there beautiful faces makes your heart want to fly
but then the bricks come one by one
it felt like darkness came way to fast and hit you like a ton..
one man and his daughter showed them to have hope
to lay down the burdens and to learn how too cope..
st. jude's hospital is the most hopeful place you can go too
their love for these children will never be lost
hold on they say and ur angel will be near at all cost
the doctors and nurses and family to all will always hold that special place
with all the world to watch and softly sing amazing grace...
those gifts from god those precious children how do they stay so strong
test after test they hold on tight but with the laughter in their eyes
they are able to be the best they can be and hold the ultimate prize.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
