    Humanity's Plight

Serendipitous moments guided by the gods
who wheel the deal till it all stops
with a warning to choose your course wisely
or depend on unforeseen forces that portend crises.

    Emotions preclude rational thoughts
daring you to take life by the horns
positioning your Spirit; a powerful entity
that creates all life in its intensity.

Eluding all guides but governed by the stars
    in hopes to abide
by the naturalness that flows deep inside
and in the process finding a Self; that sleeps
no longer effected as we speak.

Who is to judge what is Right or Might
whether it is power that discerns
or is it a failing heart’s concern
that utters a whisper so dear to us all.

i have always said critical thinking has left our society and only emotions are ruling our world. every1 so afraid of loss. either way this is a very good poem. i wish u kept preaching the lesson but still very gud

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
