    I had a first sight--

    I had a first sight--
    along the melodic metronome:
    Time,
keeper of Moment and Possibility's kingdom:

    A child, a lover, a man
    --alone and fending for futures,
a pencil in one hand, a pen in the other,
    Where do I begin?

    Blind and defeaned by depression,
led by the hand of Endings,
    further and further into starkness,
    he whispered: "Open your eyes..."

    I had a first sight--
    along rythmic rivers of courage,
    bathing in bravery
and letting myself dry in soft breezes...

    What's the rush?
    --opening stronger arms,
I was embraced by Grace of possibility
    and of moments.

A child, lover and man of a belief devout,
--aged and wizened, young yet of chains free.
Stronger, and able, I can reach out,
    and confidently show you Me.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
