I Hate You

I hate you
for treating me like shit,
for believing that you're better,
for being better.
I hate you
for making me honestly believe
that the latter is true.
I hate you
for betraying my trust,
for humiliating me,
for confiding in me.
I hate you
for saying you love me,
for depending on me,
for making me love you,
totally dependent on our relationship.
I hate you
for making jokes,
for singing badly with me,
for the million smiles we share.
I hate you
for fucking up afterwards like you always do.
I hate you
for blaming me,
for turning everyone against me,
including myself.
I hate you
for causing my laugh lines,
for causing my scars.
I hate you
for encouraging me,
for beaming at my accomplishments,
for tearing me down at one mistake.
I hate you
for taking out your anger on me
when you secretely hate your boss.
I hate you
for being a hypocrite,
for bitching about my faults
when they are the same as your own.

I hate you for being you.
I hate you for making me...
for making me be your clone.

This is a real picture of how we give our power away to another. Keep your power and become happy and strong.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
