    I Walked Away

    Guess what, you suck
    Saw your stupid, pretty face
Took a step and walked away
Heard your voice and kicked myself for believing it was me
    See your eyes
    Ain't gonna cry anymore
    Wash your touch away
Off of me and see who I am
Who I'm meant to be when I'm not chasing you
Sure, my stomach drops when you're there
And my heart bumps in my chest
    But my head's throbbing
And I guess I don't love you now
    I walked away

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
