    If My Love For You

If my love for you were an ocean, it would be the deepest blue.
And if it were a galaxy, it would cover the greatest span.
If my love for you were a potion, it would smell oh so sweet.
And if it were a sheet of music, it would sound oh so grand.
Alas, my love is none of those, and words fail to tell,
the way you make me feel is the deepest greatest sweetest sound.

If continually to smell your countenance there would be no need for a rose.
To taste your personality would fulfill unto my death.
And to hear your love for the Father would cause the darkest to choose.
But if I could just breathe your inner beauty, I would only need one breath.
