I'll Be Waiting

I'll Be Waiting

I wish to hold her in my arms
I wish to tell her I love her more than life
Just to be given that chance to feel it
That's when I will be waiting

I think about her everyday
When I sleep and when I wake
Just to hear her voice and see her face
That's when I will be waiting

She make me laugh and she makes me smile
She makes me feel alive
Just to show her what she means to me
That's when I will be waiting

She is my world, she is my life
She is everything to me
Just so she can see what she is to me
That's when I will be waiting

To hold her, to kiss her, to love her
To give her everything she wants and needs
Just so that I may call her my own
That's when I will be waiting

I would wait forever if I must
Just to feel her embrace
Just for her to call me her own
That's when I will be waiting

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
