In The Shadow That Cast Itself

                                   An Esoteric Poem

                                       By THE RIVER JORDAN

IN THE SHADOW THAT CAST ITSELF

    In the Battle Fields

     In the Midst of War

    The Armies Disappear

    Dissolution Rears it’s Head

The King are Lade to Waste

    The Jesters Left to Rule

    What A Fool

    Foolish is the Notion

    The Alteration

    Value is Left

In the Heart of a Hallowed Reminiscence

In the Shadow that Cast Itself

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
