In this life
Once in this life I had a daughter,
It was amazing to hear her heartbeat and feel her,
She came into this world, this life, this crazy place,
Just to love me and put a smile on my face,
Though her heart and passion for life was strong,
Her little lungs and her fragile body couldnt sing the same song,
No one could bare the sadness in my heart,
In this life my angel and I have to live apart,
I would have given my life for her,
What mother wouldn't give up life for their daughter,
The sadness of living and not being able to watch her grow,
Is more painful than any pain that I know,
In this life I've learned to live alone,
Only because my angel is waiting for me to come home,
