    Innocense

I see you soar through the sky.
    So innocent,
    Never telling a lie.
    A heart so pure.
Yet, still I seem so unsure.
    When you are gone.
I know my life is done!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
