Internal Death
Why o why must I die
But only on the inside
The time I’ve wasted
The love I’ve tainted
The misery I cause
The pain I feel
You make it real
I miss you so
I thought I’d never grow
Without you near me
You said you’d love me
That love that set my soul free
I fear for my life
And my souls eternal strife
I feel something is missing within me
My heart has gone and abandoned me
In the sea of perpetual sorrow
Tossed to and fro by the waves
And attacked by those who crave
To hurt and destroy
When almost all was lost I saw her
She is the goddess of mercy and beauty
She gave my heart back
Her eyes the color of the sky
In her eyes I could see the pain that made me crack
To dust that was just swept under the rug
And forgotten
As tears falls from her face
Like rain that waters the flowers
May god end me now
And let my soul roam free
To drift around with you
But to never move on
So together we may be
But if not
For the love I once knew
I pray to god
That he is forever with you
But always know,
Forever it’s true,
I will always love you
