    It's Me Again

I dreamed of Heaven last night

The way I remember it in your eyes

We were still the best of friends

And You were in my arms again

I woke up still in love with You

With something that I had to do

To somehow give to you my words

And hope that love can still be heard

    It's Me again

    Not that other man

The one that broke your heart

    And tore apart

All the dreams that we had planned

    So here I am

    And here I'll stand

    And swear to you

    I'll promise to

Never ever make you cry again

    Just let me in

    It's me again

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
